Where Google Ads budgets leak
Most businesses running Google Ads waste 20–40% of their spend without realising it, through structural problems that compound month after month.
- Clicks that can turn into enquiries
- Clicks that leak away, through the three gaps below
Paying for searches that never convert
Broad match keywords pull in irrelevant searches, weak negative keyword lists let unqualified clicks through, and automated bidding runs without proper conversion data.
Landing pages that raise your costs
Slow pages, mismatched promises and a poor mobile experience earn lower Quality Scores. You pay more than competitors for the same position.
No idea which keywords make money
Without cross-device tracking, phone call conversions and proper attribution, profitable campaigns get cut and unprofitable ones keep running.
- Tradies and local services
- Medical practices
- Online stores
- Law firms, accountants and consultants
- B2B and lead generation
Why search specialists run PPC differently
Search intent works the same way whether the click is paid or organic. That’s the knowledge we bring to your account.

Should I invest in PPC if I already do SEO?
Usually, yes. PPC gives immediate visibility for competitive terms while SEO builds long-term organic presence. Together they cover more of the results page, and each channel’s data improves the other.
How much should I spend on Google Ads?
It depends on your industry, competition and goals. We recommend starting with enough to gather meaningful data, typically $2,000–$5,000 a month for Sydney businesses, then scaling based on return on ad spend. We’ll advise on a realistic budget in the strategy meeting.
How do you prevent PPC from cannibalising our organic traffic?
We monitor keyword-level performance across both channels. When your organic ranking for a term is strong enough to capture most of the clicks, we reduce or pause paid spend on it and move the budget to terms where organic hasn’t caught up.
What is Performance Max and should we use it?
Performance Max is Google’s automated campaign type, serving ads across Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, Gmail and Maps. It works with strong conversion data, good creative and the right audience signals; without careful setup it can waste spend on low-quality placements. We set it up with tight asset groups and proper exclusions, and keep optimising it.
How quickly will we see results from PPC?
Traffic starts as soon as campaigns are live. The first two to four weeks gather data on which keywords, ads and audiences convert. By month two there’s enough data for meaningful optimisation, and most campaigns reach peak efficiency around months three to four.
Do you provide access to our Google Ads account?
Yes. We set up campaigns in your own Google Ads account, which you own and control at all times. You can see every campaign, ad, keyword and dollar spent. If you ever move to another agency or take it in-house, the account, its history and its data stay yours.
