In our last video, we talked to you about basic tips to improve your WordPress SEO strategy. Now that you’ve mastered everything we talked about there, let’s turn to Intermediate SEO strategies you can implement. We’ll begin with the Google AdWords Keyword Planner; the perfect foundation for your dynamic SEO campaign.
To access the Keyword Planner, log in to your AdWords account, navigate to “Tools” and click on Keyword Planner. Simple!

Google Keyword Planner lets you tap into the highest-ranking keywords for your product or service. Start by brainstorming keywords that you would like to rank for. Think about your core customers, what products they are buying, and what keywords they will be searching for.

Once you have an idea of which keywords your customers might be using, enter this keyword list into the Search for new keywords using a phrase, website or category section and click “Get Ideas” to generate additional keyword ideas. When deciding which keywords are best for SEO purposes, ensure you balance high average monthly search numbers with low competition. That way, you will be targeting your perfect market.
